Experience
Jasper Wong is an associate at Goetz Platzer LLP, where his practice focuses on commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy and insolvency. He represents lenders, financial institutions, and creditors in enforcement actions, adversary proceedings, and commercial disputes before New York State courts and federal courts, including the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Wong brings to his practice firsthand experience on the federal bench. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of New York, where he gained extensive experience in complex Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings, adversary proceedings, and contested commercial and consumer bankruptcy matters across all stages of litigation.
Prior to joining Goetz Platzer, Mr. Wong represented creditors, litigation trustees, and plan administrators under Chapter 11 plans in adversary proceedings and commercial disputes at ASK LLP. He previously practiced at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, where he litigated complex civil matters across New York State and federal courts.
Mr. Wong received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2022, where he was a recipient of the Prince Scholarship.
