Experience
Tara’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, and all aspects of Surrogate’s Court matters, including accounting, probate, administration and miscellaneous proceedings. Tara represents clients in estate, trust and fiduciary litigation, including probate contests, accounting proceedings, discovery and turnover proceedings, will and trust construction proceedings, and other complex disputes. In addition, Tara handles SCPA Article 17 and 17-A guardianship proceedings, and adoption proceedings. Tara is qualified to serve as Guardian ad Litem in Surrogate’s Court and frequently represents the interests of minors, disabled individuals, and unknown heirs.
Tara was previously an Associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. and Farrell Fritz, P.C. in their Trusts & Estates Departments. Tara was also a judicial intern for Honorable Rita Mella, Surrogate of New York County, and Honorable Margaret C. Reilly, Surrogate of Nassau County.
